3.0L 6G72 P0340 & P0335 - Bucking, stalling, jerking
Alrighty fellas. I'm sorry to not introduce myself before jumping right into my issue, but this is rather sudden. Small bit of background, I'm rather familiar with most GM and Fords, Chrysler and most Japanese cars don't have a place in my knowledge base.
We're dealing with a 2005 Chrysler Sebring Coupe with the 3 liter V6. We've got a P0340 and P0335. The car is bucking, jerking, and rather irritating. It'll sit there and jerk when on the highway...will positively stall if in reverse, and will stall when put under any load. In addition to that, it oddly seems to get worse when I turn left, or even bank left at speed, versus banking right, or turning right, which tends to temporarily subside the issue.
This is entirely a Florida car, and is well taken care of. It sits in a carport, it's had synthetic oil since 5k miles, etc etc. Point is, this is happening, and the car is not mistreated, only 5 years old, and only has 30k miles.
It seems rather unlikely that both the crank and cam sensors would die simultaneously...and overall, it feels like a dying ignition, yet there are no misfire codes (oddly I got a P0440 about a month ago when this started, sort of, but no others).
I've researched lightly on the topic, with the help of my close friend Google..but I've found no definitive answers, surprising since it seems to be quite a common topic to have these two codes show up out of nowhere.
Help?
