3g Door Trim Seal
I've heard that the 00 - 02 Eclipse had problems with leaky door trim, but that it was fixed in 03. Is this true, and if so, will the trim from an 03 fit on an 01 to fix it?

RE: 3g Door Trim Seal
There should be an updated seal you can get through the dealership if that's the case that should fix your seal leak problem. They shouldn't be selling any of the defective ones anymore.

wow... in that pic your car looks like a toy ( not in a bad way ) ... but i have an 01 and had it over winter and all the rain and ****, never any leaks, the sunroof has a hard time getting out, but other then that, no seal problems

The rubber flap doesn't even touch the window, on either side. If I wash my car, 2 - 3 hours later my window will get soaking wet if I put it down then back up. I'll contact the dealership.

RE: 3g Door Trim Seal
lol 93eclipse knows eric's car better than he does... That's great!

RE: 3g Door Trim Seal
haha, when he washes he will be driving and when he puts down the window and rolls it back up, its all wet.

RE: 3g Door Trim Seal
Yeah, same thing. I read somewhere that they fixed that in the '03. I will actually open my door than put my window down, my gf thinks im stupid. I'd rather walk into a food place than put my window down.

RE: 3g Door Trim Seal
LOL I wouldn't go that far... I'd still drive... But then again I never go anywhere without the windows down so they'd likely be down already... LOL
