call mitsubishi 18886487820 , first selection press 1 (own a mitsubishi vehicle) second selection press 4 (if u have issue with vehicle, to speak with representative) just tell them u are the owner (or new owner). have the car vin #, radio model # and serial #, in a minute u should have your radio code.

yea, i just read a whole thread on another forum about this- same procedure there, and yea, the same procedure i've been through with other cars [:'(]. Thanks for all your help man, I think I'm good to go...

Just to bump this up a bit have you found the source of your idle problem? I am having the same problem and worse it is xmas weekend and I will not be able to find a shop now till Thursday. I read a lot about the battery but if it has enough juice to start the vehicle why would it not have enough to run the vehicle?
I have not worked on cars since my old 65 Stang so excuse my ignorance on this one.
