Default Another new eclipse(Wrecked)

My wife is now the proud honor of a 2003 gt spyder. It is in perfect shape and only has 31k miles on it.
I was just curious to know of any problems that are known to occure with the 3rd gen spyder so i can keep my eyes out for any possible problams. Also how good of a engine is the 6G72 reliability wise. Hope its nothing like my gst.

Well that eclipse spyder that me and my wife just bought just got destroyed after only a week. My wife was on her way to work at about
11:30 Tuesday morning when some dumb **** decided to pull out in front of her to turn into an abc auto. Needless to say my wife slammed
wright into the side of them completing destroying both cars. She is ok but we are both extremely pissed. I am hoping they dont total the car
but most likely they will.

Well I own a 2002 GT non-spyder, and my engine is still good after 110k miles. Just keep good care of that engine :-D I'm not aware of any "known" issues with the spyders but we'll see if anybody else has anything to say. Congrats on the new car [sm=gobble.gif]

On the other hand, I beat the absolute hell out of mine and it only runs when it wants to... So be careful lol

As female drivers (usually) go, its probably better she do that than try to go fast... Id like to remind everyone of the CObra video that Sebb recently posted.

I must have missed that video. Does anyone know how well the tops hold up on the spyder. That is one of the main thing that concerns me about this car.
