Default a/c is out...

the fan is working and so is the heater, i bought some refrigerant today thinking it just needed a recharge but when i went to test the psi it was over 65. what should i check next?

im assuming if the psi is too high i can pretty much rule out any leaks right?

any clue where my water shut motor might be? im using an online program for diag but it doesnt do much for locating parts or components

water shut off motor?? i have work for a mitsubishi dealer for 20 yrs. never heard of that on an eclipse. what exactly are you trying to do?? was the 65LBS on the low or the high side?? at idle with a/c on, low side pressure should be 28- 35 LBS high side shold be 150- 200. on a really hot day the high side pressure could go as high as 250LBS. if you have 65LBS on the low side, compressor is bad. also replace the dryer. that acts as a filter to the a/c system. compressor could have come apart and sent debris into the system. dryer should catch most of it. so replace it!! good luck!! greg...

pretty sure it was the low side
that motor i was referring to was something from a diag list on alldatapro
its not a mitsu program so im assuming its not completely accurate
