First off that speaker isn't worth replacing. I replaced it once and it just blew again. It sounds completely fine without it. But to unconnect it you will still have to take that out. It was a pain when I took mine off. I read everywhere that it should just come right out but that wasn't the case. There are to clips in there that you have to pop off to get it out. I broke one of my clips and it doesn't jiggle or anything. So my advice to you would be to just get a flat head screw drive and show it who the boss is.

I just pulled toward me and wedge the screw diver in and pry towards yourself.

I had to replace a couple of my speakers because of got the 03 GTS Spyder and I always had the music a little too loud...

The center is not worth replacing (already said I know), but when I took it out I just had to pry it...

I just unhooked it and left it there...

Get a screwdriver under there and see if you can get a look up at the pins holding it in and put most of the torque there...

New reciever, speakers all around, amp, and dual 10' subs in the back and it's sounding great... Well worth the money and the time...

well i got the stuff off. now i realize that i have to solder the wires on my new speaker and make the whole bigger so the new speaker will fit. YAY more work and so little time.

Not really a point to it... but youll find that you can just remove the stock harness for it by clipping the wires... and then just splice them into the new spkr wires. Use the harness rather than solder.
Like I said though, its pointless. The position of the speaker is just plain bad. I replaced all my spkrs with MB Quarts a while ago, prolly a month later the connection went bad on the center channel and I never even noticed, lol.
