Hello I am new in this website i am looking for a solution to a problem i am having. My 2001 eclipse driver side door and convertible buttons are not working only the window buttons. but the passanger door window rools down no problem. i didnt change the switch but i looked at all the fuses and checked every thing it looks good. I am worried that it could be electrical short some place but how can i find this. any one have any ideas on what i should try... please help....

 

Make sure the convertible button is flush with the trim. My driver side window used to stop working and it was because the button for the sunroof would "pop" down off the roof a bit and as soon as it was pushed flush everything would work fine. No-one was able to explain exactly why but they figured a wire was being pulled or grounded. Good luck.

 

no luck there the convertible switch is in properly. cant get anything to start working again. any other ideas?
