I think that Mitsubishi should have kept the headlights and tail lights that they had on the 2000 - 2005 eclipses, they were very distinguished. I also like the tail lights on the 1995 - 1999 year models, they were also very distinguished. I don't really like the tail lights and head lights on the new '06 eclipses, they seem very generic. What does every body else think about this? Comments?

 

There's a whole discussion on the '06 eclipse. I think they were making a mockery of the 350Z and I REALLY think the whole '06 Eclipse is actually rather ugly.

 

I like the overall contour of the car, but as you said, some parts do look generic. The front end looks too much like a Ford Focus to me. But, since I own a 3G I needn't worry

 

Its too larg for me, but the idea behind it was to bring back some of the styling that the 2g owners fell in love with, if you look at it you can see a hint of 2g in it.

 

The first time I saw it I got sick to my stomach, lol. I hate it, I really do... although it does have some 2g ideas as slow mentioned, it's just not enough for me. I hate how all these car companies are trying to futurize cars like they show them in the movies. Making them all rounded and space ship like. I saw a concept of an eclipse online somewhere, maybe it was an 06 idea, maybe it was an 09 idea, not sure, but it was so freakin ugly. Looked like a space-pod or something.

...as for headlights, I dont know. I haven't really looked at the lights of the car. I'm too busy trying to keep the vomit in my stomach from the body style.
