actually there is a tube chassis drag eclipse that used the 6g72tt at one point...and it is possible...just not feasable

doesnt the eclipse gts already have a 6g72 engine? therefore youd just have two twin turbo itif anything is wrong dont yell at me im mechanically challenged :)

yes it does but it is also sohc and much different from the dohc 6g72 found in the tt 3/s's... im not sure if a dohc swap has been done on a 3g v6?

RE: Engine Swap

could you just swap the head off of the dohc 6g72. More than likely im wrong but never hurts to ask.

You can make a V12 3G using a tube chassis, Dave. lol. Theres a lot more to that than just a head swap. THe motors dont even mount up the same way. If you really want to do an engine swap with that car, why dont you look more into the 6g74 swap. Its a lot more plausable.
