dude there somthin seriously wrong with your gts if it only goes 115mph i have a 2003 eclipse gts and ive gone a little over 145MPH so yea and my aunt has a rs 4 cylinder and shes had it goin about 125-130mph

 

the RS will only hit 125 if you have about 7 miles of running room. I had one I know for a fact it takes all day to even reach 100. and I dont think there is anything wrong with his car , its the driver of the car not being stupid and not pushing the car that fast

One time I went 120, I don't really like top end speed tho. I am more of a 0-60 dude

 

I had a 99 GS before my gsx and I got it going 136 on a really long straight away...
and don't call me a liar. The got pulled over a few minutes later... i sold my car cause my parents were mad. I bought my gsx 3 weeks later and they got over it because i told them this eclipse is awd and its safer over the passes. They were pleased with that. haha
i didn't tell them it was a whole lot faster.

 

must have taken you like 10 miles to get that speed because other wise that is vertually inpossible. Unless you had a couple small mods to open up the top end a little better

 

Ive been 155 in the 2000 stang GT SC, 136 in the 01 eclipse GT and about 40 (so not to go into boost in the 95 vr4) Hopfully it will be done soon!! SOOO much time and money though.

 

Yep, my '01 tiptronic GS gets up to 120 fairly fast, but then it takes at least 5 miles to creep up to 125 on a straightaway. On a down grade it can top out at about 128.

 

How about 3 days ago, i decided to go 100 over a bridge. A cop just happened to be there. and i got a ticket for $215. No more speeding for me for a while... and yes. i know im not the smartest person on the block. haha

 

133 with a passenger in my car.. 2000 rs, yes i know its dumb save me the guilt trip please.. i had 93 octane in it at the time for the hell of it, not sure if that bumped up the top speed a little or what
