Default My "New" GTS...question no.1

Long story short, I just inherited my daughters 03 GTS. It will be my daily driver. (I imagine I will be on this forum alot more). The first thing I need to do to it is alittle suspension work (on the cheap!). I noticed the rear end "hops" or "skids" when hitting a bump, particularly when cornering. I will replace the rear shocks, but is there other components I should be looking at? Is there a rear stabilizer?

(second question - are there brake pads that don't get the wheels so dirty?)

thanks

Hawk ceramic pads withh cut down the dust quite a bit.

As for the suspension. The 3G eclipse suspension is pretty sloppy. If you want a firm cornering feel with will take quite a bit or stuff. However, nice shocks like KYB agx or something and a nice rear sway bar should improve the handling still they are just a little harder to find

here's a picture of the rear suspension on that vehicle if the ball joints on numbers 41617l & 41617r are weak they will make the car shift when going over bumps.

now here's my plug, you can goto mitsupartsman.com and search p/n's MR325255 and MR325256 where you can purchase them for 25% off retail which is about $51.00 each
