you can NOT put twins from a supra. I know... I have a supra and have owned 3 Eclipses from 2000-2002 years. and No turbo will be smog legal on your car.

If you are that worried about it. Sell the 3G take the money you were going to use to mod it and buy either an Evo or a 2G eclipse GST or GSX. That will cost you so much less $$$ time and agrivation in the long run. I have experience with turboing the 3G and guess what. I ended up eventually selling to just buy an Evo

No a supra engine will not fit into a 3G EVER. it is not possible. What ever websites you are looking at just stop because it sounds like a group who have no clue about cars at all unless they have been playing video games too much.

The 3G and supra have to very very very differnt engines the only thing similar is displacment 3.0L (assuming the 3G is a GT or GTS).

That said If I could go back in time I would have NEVER bought any of my 3G eclipses let alone mod them. These cars are one of the worst 'sports' cars to moddify. They do not make any power and with bolt on mods they gain like 5HP total. They are not all that reliable either. Only one of them was reliable for me and that was because I sold it when it only had 45,000 miles on it and only owned it for 6 months.

Not to scare you or anything but you have the wrong car if you want a fast car. Based on the odds your car will never be fast, and if it does get fast (turbo or supercharger) it will be very unreliable.

Like I said if you want fast sell now and buy an Evo or a 2G. They are pretty quick stock and if you are driving a GS or RS with the 4 cyl then they would be fast to you. Simple mods on them and you will be able to make 300WHP and more.

The difference is on the 3G you put exhaust on it and you feel nothing. on the Evo or 2G you put exhaust and your car will get much faster.

I had an entire turbo kit peiced together. I was one of the first in the U.S. back in 2001 to do it. I was the first person to test fit the Evo turbo setup on the GS eclipse. All of the info out there on fitting those setups on the 3G GS or RS was from me and some friends doing the work back then.

If you think you can feel power in these cars you must not have ever driving a real car (no offence) these cars are way to slow and do not do well with mods at all. THe overall cost to get a 13 second 1/4 mile car is not worth it you could make a 2G turbo or Evo run in the low 11s or even 10s for the same cost, You are talking a difference of having 250-300WHP or being able to have 500-600WHP and being reliable at the same time and not having traction issues. I understand the eclipse being your car and the car you want to use but when I tell you it is not worth it and your car will never be fast I am being very very honest and speaking from personal experience.

Well I can tell you your eclipse will never get faster than 13s and that is a stretch. You will need alot of time alot of research and alot of money.

Atleast the CRX is a light car. It would take less power to make fast.
