Where is the approx location to find the Oxygen Sensor on a 2001 Eclipse GT? How difficult to remove and approx time to replace. Dealer charged me $156.69 for theo2 sensorand $170.00 labor to diagnosis and replace it. Is this reasonable? Thanks for your input.

 

Which 02 sensor needs to be replaced, did they give you the dtc code?

 

They listed it on the invoice as: Engine Control Oxygen Sensor MD345230

 

Well they're are four 02 sensors, w/o a dtc your sol.

 

I just want to know if there is any sensor that is so isolated it would take1 hour and 45 minutes to replace. $170.00 in labor seems awfully high to screw out and in a sensor..

 

I'd say they're trying to get you, I work at a dealer and most of the time we charge .5 andat the most 1hr to replace an o2 sensor.
