New guy help please !

hi i am looking a a mitsubishi 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse GTS Convertible. The motor and all seems really good on it was very taken care of it only has 91,000 miles on it. but the only thing the transmission seams a little iffey when i floor it will shift nomaly and when i drive normal it will shift fine. The problem i am having is when i am in 4 gear going about 40 and then give it gas it feels like it kicks out rough! I dont know to much about these cars i frove the 4cyl one and that didnt happen. its an automatic by the way and i used the trip troonic and that worked fine to. If you guys could give me any kind of input that would be great thanks again

i hate auto trans' with a passion.
It would seem your solution is not to floor it in 4 from 40.
