rough idle and stalling problem
 

I'v got a 2000 Eclipse GT, and it started running rough and giving a misfire code on the diagnostic and 2 places recommended i do a tune up, so i had a garage put spark plugs and wires on it, and it didnt fix the rough running and after i got it back it started stalling when its idling, I'v been told water in the gas tank could cause the rough running so i just put som treatment in it and the stalling might be cause if the garage didnt actually replace the upper intake gasket like they were supposed to. any suggestions on what could be the problem? also i found som papers where the spark plugs had been replaced less than 2k miles ago (i just bought this car a few weeks ago from a private seller*)

Could be the idle control valve. How does it run when your giving it gas?

started stalling more often so i figured id check the distributor, large crack in the cap and the rotor button was wore out :P thank god thats all it was
