I recently purchased a 2001 Eclipse which needed some repairs. During the repairs my battery was disconnected so now the stereo will no play, says it needs a code. I don’t have the code, is there a way to get around this? Do I have to go to the dealer for the code?

I got my stero working I called Mitsubishi and gave them my seriel# on my stereo my model#from my stereo and the vin# and Mitsubishi for free all the dealers wanted me to bring the car in.

Same issue here. I know I can call 888-MITSU2005 and maybe get the code, but it's the weekend and maybe someone here can get it to me before Monday.
