Yeah well maybe they will make the 2010 Ecplise with an option for a turbo in it.

RE: Turbo on my 2004 GTS
FYI, the GTS motor can only handle 6psi as said before BUT the gain will be more than 50WHP. you can get around 270 to the wheels on that. its been done alot. 8PSI makes a little over 300WHP. Stock GTS motor only makes around 170WHP. The cost to turbo it to make alot of power is not worth it. However Dusty's statments about them is simply not very true. No matter what why you boost the GTS motor it is touchy because of the junk pistons. Another FYI the pistons are the only thing in the bottom end you need to change out. the rest of it is actually very strong and can handle around 500WHP. People run 420ish WHP on the Ripp Stage III but it comes with pistons. same goes for a turbo.
The other thing with the ripp kit is it is not intercooled. It used meth/alky/water injection to cool the charge. So keep in mind you need to buy more and refill it and monitor it. Dusty turbos are more reliable and more predictable that the ripp kit as well. I am a fan of Ripps stuff dont get me wrong but there are things you cant acount for like the belt slip and bug boost spike or running on the blck/grey box and 'assuming' your tune it built on its own is ok or even having to remember to add meth. You run out on a hard pull your motor will go boom. Turbos have alot of things inline to adjust and compansate for all of that. Wastegate,BOV,MBC,FMIC all that junk helps add a little more assurance. And running at least an Emanage you can control your own tune so you can atleast tell its good

I 100% agree with ya, Emonz... I was just tryin to show him one of those 'all-inclusive' kits (like youd mentioned, the one with the rods, pistons etc.)
Like Estraw said, its very unlikely the Eclipse will ever see another turbo. The Lancer is Mitsus Sports car now, and really has been for a while in most countries.
