Vacuum Leaks

Having trouble with a vacuum leak and can`t find it . Here is a simple solution .. I took a clean paint can and put a screw in valve stem in the side.. On the lid I put a hose nipple . The tire compressor I use I bought at Canadian Tire but you guys from the States could get one from Auto Zone or your choice of Automotive Suppler. As you can see in the pictures I lined the bottom of the paint can with aluminum foil . You take some barbeque bricks and heat them with a propane torch and place them in the can with barbeque tongs .Tear up some cardboard and place in the can and put the lid on . Use a spare hose line ( it must fit your nipple and some where on your vacuum on your car ) Hook up the valve stem to about five pounds of air... Make sure you close up the intake where its introduced at the air filter. This will fill the system with smoke and it will leak out where your vacuum leak is... Hope this helps some body.. It saved me a few bucks and now I have a smoke machine of my own...
