AC/Air control odd problem

Well here's a real obscure problem that has me scratching my head. I'd like to repair it myself but haven't been able to find exactly what's wrong. I've tried jiggling and reconnecting cables, replacing the climate control to no avail =/

My AC works, but only when the fan speed is on 1. I can hear the compressor turn on and max ac turns on the radiator fan. When the fan speed is on 1 the fan won't turn on even though the AC does.

Fan speeds 2-4 work fine but the AC won't turn on (AC light doesn't turn green or anything) Max AC doesn't do anything like the compressor fan won't turn on.

If I let the AC run on 1 for a bit (no air circulating since fan doesn't work) and I select 2-4 fan speeds the air coming out will be super cold till the evaporator warms up.

I tried replacing the climate control module, but that didn't do anything. Any ideas?

did you check your Blower Motor Resistor ???

Well i replaced the climate control, but the resistor? no i didn't. Where's that located?

I would think the AC would still work on the other fan settings. BTW i'm an electrical engineer so I know how to test if it's bad

Crap are you talking about that guy? It's REALLY buried in there =/. Well i guess i'll do the manual AC troubleshooting in the FSM or w/e its called

I was just hoping someone would have ran into this issue and could help out. i've looked a bit online but it's hard to google due to the obscurity

its not that bad to get to take the pass side seat out then you can lay on your back and get right to it
