I'm trying to install a 5 channel amp in my 04' Lancer Ralliart. My car came stock with the infinity premium sound system, which has an amp under the driver's seat, and a sub in the trunk. Does anyone know what the stock wiring codes are for the plug that runs into the amp. I would like to utilize the stock speakers with my 5-channel if possible. Also, does the stock infinitys run on a standard 8ohm load. Thanks for the help!

 

you need to take that one to a audio shop man<IMG src=smileys/smiley19.gif border="0"> sorry I'm all for diy audio but you need hands on help on this one. then again if you have a volt meter and line tester it shouldn't be too hard to figure out . even though it's stock it could only have signal, power, and ground. does it even have a remote wire? <edited><editID>madmat</editID><editDate>38110.5014583333</editDate></edited>

 

not sure what wires are power and remote because i capped them off on mine. but for all the speakers just get a 9 volt battery and match up pairs of wires if it clicks you got the right ones. This should also help you to find the right channels for the amp. Hope this helps.
