RE: 2001 Galant Stock Stereo - HOW TO HOOK UP AUXILIARY FOR MP3 PLAYBACK
Depends on what you're trying to do and what you've got. There's no way that I know of to 'add a plug' to a factory stereo without jumping through a few hoops first. Are you wanting something for an iPod or just a genaric MP3 player? If you want iPod connectivity, there may be an option or two (and a few hoops to go with them). Otherwise, your options are extremely limited. Want my advice? Get a new head unit. It'll be about the same price for a decent head unit as adding auxilary connectivity, if it's even possible with your factory unit. Plus it'll sound better with the aftermarket.
