94' Lancer Head unit wire colour help
 

Hi all,

I am trying to install a new head unit into a 94 lancer MX+ and can not find a diagram which tells me which colour wire is which. If anyone is able to point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated

do you have the OLD stereo and wiring harness?

black is earth
red is hot (always - the memory circuit)
yellow is usually ACC/ accessory circuit (only when key is ON/ACC, ie)

speakers are usually paired, green, purple, blue, grey, green etc, hot wire is solid, cold wire has black stripe.
