i am fixing to buy a pionner AVH-P4900DVD before i did wanted to see wat are yall reviews on it. good purchase or bad

 

Pioneer is a great brand for the money. Other brands I migh recomend are Clarion and Eclipse. I've never personally delt with this particualr model, but I work with Pioneer Cd, DVD and navi's every day and I love them. My only suggestion would be that if you're dumping money into a nice head unit, make sure the rest of your audio system is up to snuff. Nothing like a kickin deck and factory speakers. Get yourself a good 4ch amp and some nice speakers, a good sub+enclosure and a quality 2ch/mono block, good quality wires and you've got yourself a respectable AV set up.

 

i've never been a fan of pioneer, but i LOVE panasonic, they make great quality stuff that works amazing and looks good too
