Hi there,
I've just bought a stock 2003 Eclipse GS, and I want to connect up my MP3 player with a line in to the factory receiver (Infinity - says W278). Does anyone know what auxillary adapter I need? Or even if the stereo has an aux in? I'm new to this and don't know what to look for on the existing head unit or even how to take it out of the dash.
The Mitsubishi site talks about a 6 cd changer as an option on the GS, so I assume there is an aux in, unless they install a different head unit when they sell you this option.
Any help appreciated!
Thanks,
Ben

CD changers use a whole different kind of input/output... if your looking to hook up an MP3 player to a radio in most cases you need to have RCA inputs into the back of the deck.. I dont think that factory radios have RCA inputs... usually the only thing you can hook up to a factory deck is CD changers...

I am trying to find the same kind of info and can find NOTHING either at Mitsub. or here. Can't believe with all the accessories everyone uses (iPods, Satt. Radio etc.) that this hasn't come up before.
