I am looking for a way to mode my Lancer 2008 GTS to allow DVD video playback during driving. I know that over the years there has been several ways that manufactures accomplished this. Certain ways could be circumvented without much hassle. Does anyone know how to do this on a new Lancer yet? I know it is illegal....lets just say I am doing it for a school project on how dumb some manufactures areverses how smart owners are.

 

u need to take the brake wire from the radio...and ground it

its usually on the e brake it grounds when ur e brake is up so take it off there and just ground it like they said

 

its a 2008 lancer gts with the nav kit from the factory

 

does anyone have any pics on how to do this?? and does it mess it up your CPU??? or anything???

 

Does not work on the 08 Lancers and 07 Outlanders.
