Default RE: HOW TO

I've yet to find one for a Galant, but it's a pretty straight foward process. First, you'll need to go to Best Buy, Walmart, or your local audio shop and get an aftermarket wiring harness for your car. Connect the color coded wires from your new headunit into the aftermarket wiring harness (they should all be the same color... usually). You remove the trim from around the head unit (if needed) and there are either two retaining nuts on each side of the headunit or one in the back (never owned a Galant so i'm not 100% sure). Pull out the old unit, unplug all the wires and you're ready to slide the new one in. Make sure you plug back in the antenna!!! As for replacing speakers, make sure you purchase the right sized ones for your car. Best Buy can help you with that... hope this helps!
