MMCS Japanese to English conversion..

Hi all, newbies here. We have just last week purchased a 2009 Outlander, unfortunately the MMCS headunit is all in Japanese.
After scouring the internet all weekend I am realising that I cannot fix this manually and am going to need a conversion CD. Am wondering if it is possible to use a conversion CD which has already been used in another headunit (ie: second hand) - or if I am going to have to fork out $120 on trademe to sort this? :(
Also, if anybody has a conversion CD which they would be willing to sell we would be very interested.
Would love to hear from anybody who has been in the same boat.

He asks you to remove the hard drive and send the serial of the hard drive then with the help of Otaku encrypts the software to work on that hard drive only.
I wish he would tell people this in his Trademe listing as I seem to fix up about 1 hard drive a week with someone trying this on their unit.
I use to do this for free, but am also on Trademe now as it got too busy.
I will offer discount if you want to go through me or carry on looking.
Good luck.

HI HJB, thanks for your reply. Can you please PM me and provide a bit more info on what it is you do. Very keen to get this sorted, it seems like such a waste to have such a great system but not be able to use it!

Many thanks

You mean "someone trying to use an image on a different hard drive", yes ?
They are told what will happen, but some people assume it'll be an easy hack.
O.
