Stock audio no volume

Well after amp replace with known working one, fuse check, and wires check i still dont know why i have no volume or maybe power to the speakers. It is a stock setup. When i got the car it required an audio code to unlock and i unlocked it. The headunit power on and load cd and scan radio, but no sound. Anybody have this sort of problem or know what is causing it.

what kind of car do you have? I had the same problem in my 03 Eclipse. even the steeringwheel buttons were working just no sound. It probably is the factory amp. the problem is Mitsubishi uses infinty sound systems. Which are very tempmental when it comes to altering them. I took my car to best Buy and Curcit city they both told me that I would have to change H/U and speakers... Not true the cheapest way to fix is get a aftermarget H/U and have someone bypass the amp and rewire the existing speakers. make sure u don't have the speakers with fuses for each one the dude at Best buy said that could be a problem to. What sucks is that after you do this your speakers may be crap but, you can always change at your lesiure. Good luck and God Speed I know it sucks to roll with no tunes. I have a issue with my sub and amp right now so I am nack to factory speakers myself hope to get new amp this weekend.
