Is there anywhere that makes a custom sub box for the lancer rather than just getting a stock box and putting it in the middle of the trunk?

 

Depending on where you live, a chain called Tweeter will do anything you want, just depends on how much cash you have. Car Toys will also do custom installation, but again, it gets pricey. I would assume almost any local audio store would do custom fabrication, but i dont mean best buy or circuit city. At the Tweeter I used in houston a custom box was minimum 250, but I know it can be done for much less, usually at smaller independent stores. Always check and see what they use to make the enclosure; you dont want crappy particle board! I had a simple ported box housing 2 twelves and it was damn loud in my lancer. So really, just call around or go to diferent stores and check things out.
