1998 Montero Sport clutch problem
 

I was given a montero sport over the summer, that had sat for two years. The problem i am having is that the clutch slave cylinder keeps failing. I have replaced it twice in a matter of 6 months. The engine is the 2.4l. I can push the clutch to disengage, but it will not release. The rod extending from the slave to the clutch arm extends to far and the piston in the slave sticks in the bore. Tired of working on this, as it only happens when the weather is bad. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
