will a 1.8 transmission fit on to a 2.0 motor

 

not really sure if you call a salvage yard they have a book that tells you what wi interchange on every car made.

 

yes it will. my buddy did that because his 1.8 couldnt touch my old 91 2.0 soooo he found a wrecked plymouth laser and took the mitsu 2.0 engine out of it and set it down in the 1.8 body. its a job and you have to keep in mine motor mounts and sometimes tranny's. he had to put a diff tranny in it when he switched engines.
