2008 Mitsubishi Outlander Air Bag Light

I took the front passenger seat out of my 2008 Mitsubishi Outlander and the airbag light came on. Is there anyway to turn the airbag light off? Also, will this effect the drivers side airbag system??

Any help would be great! Thanks!
