Default The blue light

Hi I have a 2015 Outlander V6...when i turn the car on there is a blue light (like a tempeeature gauge) that stays on until the car engine warms up...i guess?...but sometimes that takes a while, i have read that youi should only warm up the car for 15 to 20 seconds...when i drive off that blue light stays on then it disappears...the question i have is...should i wait for the blue light to turn off before i drive away??

thanks!
