Alternator help!

I tried posting this once before, but don't see it, so I apologize if this is a repeat. After installing a new alternator, I found a wire I don't remember removing from the alternator. It's a small yellow wire and I have no idea where it goes. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know! Thanks!

I deleted the other post, thanks Seth! I think yellow is ground, isn't it? It's got a small clip on the end, and seems to want to go somewhere. I've got the regulator connector and the battery cable hooked back up. The drive belt is a little loose and the clock resets to 1:00 every time I turn the car back on. Could it be the loose drive belt, or would it be this yellow wire? I feel like such an idiot for not remembering these things before I took the alternator out!

Does anyone know where the ground wire plugs into? From what I understand, the chassis, but I'm not quite clear on what that is or where the slot to plug it into is. Thanks for all the help
