any help? Auto->Manual

I've got a 95 eagle talon tsi...automatic[:'(]...anyway, i toasted the trans, and i need to get this thing going again, it's my daily. The thing is, since im gonna have this creature torn apart no matter what, is there a feasible way to go manual? I really hate the auto...any info will be greatly appreciated... please don't tell me to just go buy a stick...:(

thanx

"Where there's a will, there's a way". Throw in the word " feasible" and you're SOL.

It is possible. I'd recommend you call around to local shops and get price quotes. You might want to contact a local college or trade school to see if they want to do it. It's a great idea because normally you buy the parts and they won't charge you labor. Don't go for the cheapest quote and make sure the shop has experience. It could become a mess otherwise.
