ok i have a 2000 mirage ls and she smokes but only when you get on it like say above 5 grand. The other day i was checking out all my vacume lines and decided to go out for a drive and forgot to put the line back one from the EGR valve to the EGR solinoind or whatever thats called lol well she drove great no smoke at all and no hesitation (used to be a bit of hesitation in second) i called my mecanic up and he said i shouldent run her with out that line on cause it can cause misfiring and i could blow my head. he said he dosent know why taking that off would get rid of the smoke. so the only thing i can think of is that either the EGR valve is bad or the solenoid is. can replace either one when i get the money but dont want to wast money on one if its the other one lol please help any input would be helpful thanks
