CVT Transmission
 

Hi Folks,

So I have an 07-08 Galant Fortis (Lancer GTS in the US i believe). Nice ride, have a few questions but will try to ask them in the relevant forums.

This one regards my CVT Transmission - When I'm slowing down occasionally I feel this "bump" (best way i can describe it) coming from what seems to be the transmission, almost as if its dropping into a lower gear, or sometimes i can feel the car gearing down... is this normal? Please advise... this is in regular mode, not Tiptronic mode... thanks.

Check transmission fluid level and color if it is dark get it changed.Bump does not sound good
