ECM problem
 

2006 lancer es 2.0 auto has a missfire in # 4 cyln ,Mitsubishi dealer says it is the ECM, they say u can't just buy a used Ecm out of an identical car to replace the bad one.??? I find that hard to beleave,they say if the Ecm was mothered to a certain vin# it cant be programed to a different car vin ?? if any one has had this prob ,i sure would like to here about it ??
