Default Egr p0402 - asx 1.8 di-d

Hello again guys,

my diagnostic equipment shows P0402 error (Excessive EGR flow). No check engine light or any warning on dashboard. I wanted to remove EGR valve and clean it myself. Garage would charge me 200 € and they cannot guarantee it will work on a long run. New EGR costs 900€+.
I was already looking how to remove it.. is there some manual or instructions for this procedure ? Will I be able to reach all bolts if take out the air intake hose that goes from intercooler into the engine ? Is the EGR liquid cooled and I need to plug the hoses ?

A bit of update here...
I moved my car to a mechanic and he took EGR valve out. The membrane on the bypass valve is broken, so it seems that gasses are always cooled before entering the intake manifold. But I think the bigger issue might have been vacuum leakage here... that it has even affected vanes on turbocharger. I'll report if that strange sound under sudden boost will disappear with new EGR. New valve will cost me 800 € and it's not even the geniune mitsubishi part. Genuine would cost me 900 €+.
