engine swap problems..please help!!!
 

i have been working on my engine swap for a while now. went with the jdm 6 bolt...engine is in..problem- the starter wont line up. also, now the interior lights, cd player, power windows, power door locks and the blower motor doesnt work. all my connectors are connected, and no fuses are blown. anyone that can help..please let me know what the hell im doin wrong.

i have completed several of these swaps. your starter should connect perfect. is your bell housing connected square onto your block? have you pinched any wires when installing the motor back in?

i dont see any wires that could have been pinched or anything like that...also, the dust cover for the block got bent by the starter...so i had to cut it out...then i tried using washers to shim the starter...still not working...any idea what size of a shim i need?
