front brakes on 2001 eclipse
Hi,
I am changing the front brakes on my 2001 Eclipse. (replacing rotors and pads)
When we took the wheel off the axle nut was rotted and just chipping off.
We stopped work and my cousin told me that we wont need to replace the axle nuts?
(edit: I am now being told that it is more of an end cap than a nut???)
I find that not really believable. Sounds like it is too much work and he doesn't want todo the work.
Is it safe to not replace axle nut at center of wheel?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris
