gearbox help

I have a fwd 2002 Mitsubishi diamante 3.5l v6 ralliart with a auto transmission.

I want to do a manual conversion but cant seem to find a gearbox.

Did they make these in manual.
If not what are my options for adapting another gearbox to fit?

any info is greatly appreciated as I have no idea what my options are.

sell it. Buy a manual. This is invariably the cheapest and easiest method.

unfortunately that's not an option as from what I have been told from my local Mitsubishi dealer is that none of these models were brought into nz or aus as manuals. the limited manual models that were made were sent overseas.
that's my reason for trying to find a solution to get a manual gearbox for it either from another gearbox with an adaptor plate made up for it or something I don't know

why waste money on a front wheel drive?
Yes, there will be something to fit, but seriously, not worth the effort.
I assume this is the 6g 'mivec' engine? Id be looking for a 4m box
then youre going to custum-fab box and engine mounts, loom, halfshafts, steering rack, control arms...
