hearing a loud clanking noise in the side of the engine
 
i hear a loud clanking noise on the timing belt cover. if by[:o][sm=sigh.gif] anychance how can i adjust the timing belt?? can any of my genious homie shere show me how to do it??

A stretched timing belt will result in a slight rattle sound at certain RPM's beneath the timing cover. A loud clanking noise might indicate something more severe. Have someone qualified look at it.

Get it checked out quick cause once the valves hit th epistons your in for a big repair bill.
