how do i change my front main seal?
i let some mechanic put a new water pump on my 95 3000gt and ever since then ive had an oil leak, like a quart evry 2 days. ive been tryin to figure out where it was comin from so i cleaned the engine up and took it around the block then checked it out and it looked to me like it was comin from the water pump so i took it back to the guy and he said it was probably the front main seal but i dont wanna let him work on it anymore so if ya know anything about changin these out let me know.

The front seals should have been replaced the same time your H20 pump was replaced. To replace it, you'll need to remove the timing belt that was removed when they replaced your H20 pump.

The seal you're looking for is around the front of the crank. Since you'll have everything apart, you should at least insect all of the other seals around the cams and replace them. Good Luck!
