How to remove pins from side mirror harness?

I'm trying to get the pins out of these harnesses for the side mirrors on my Mitsubishi Outlander. What is the trick here? I tried pushing a thin, sharp metal screwdriver into seemingly every hole and tugging, but they are in stuck in there well.
Does the white casing need to be removed first? Do these harnesses have a name? It says PBT-GP15 on the side, but that's the type of plastic used, I believe. Any help or tips are appreciated.
