Ignition Coil Pack question

Default Ignition Coil Pack question

I have a problem with my 95 eclipse GS my coil pack blew up on me so i went to go get a new one so i put the new one on and the car turn on but it sound like **** and it didn't even run so i stepped on the gas and then it blew up on me again. If someone can give me some advice that would be good.

Sounds like you have a short... you need to take it to an electrical expert

Oh yeah i forgot to add this the first one blew up after the car felt like it lost power and it also made some noises that sounded like bullets coming from the exhust or something like that and the motor was shaking alot and thats when the first one blew up. am not sure but someone told me that it could be the timing belt??

No it wasnt the T-Belt. The reason for the popping sound is because it wasnt igniting the fuel and it was just going through the exhaust and igniting there. Im not really sure what to suggest about how to solve it though. You have an electrical problem.
