Default L300 carb

Hi folks. Tricky one this. 1994 L300 van 2lt engine. 16 v . It suddenly started losing power literally over night. It was fine when I put it away and the very next morning..... duff. It just about ran for a day and now it won't go at all. There seems to be an errant buzzing noise comming from the carb. I talked to a Mitsu dealer and they seemed to think it's the fuel cut off solenoid but there is power getting to it. Has any body got ANY ideas. Please help

Big Steve

I'd go with the fuel cut solenoid. There may be power but the solenoid may be bad. Those things are normally closed by a spring so constant power is needed to keep them open and fuel running. I don't think the cost should be too high, you could probably do it yourself. Usually two screws hold them in.
