i just got this 95 eclipse and the engine light is on. I ask a few people and they said it could be from an exhaust leak. had the car scanned and came up with code 412 (secondary air injection valve A malfunction) does anybody know what this means

the engine runs fine but I notice while driving sometimes I feel the car buck and the light goes off. later(maybe a couple of miles) the car will buck again and the light comes back on.

 

did you check out the link i posted because that will tell you exactly how to troubleshoot the code

 

yeah I checked out the link but I cant make much sense of everything. I'm not much of a mechanic. I do have an exhaust leak on a flexible pipe in the exhaust system and a couple of people have told me that it could be disrupting a o2 sensor causing the light and the jumping. What do you all think?
