I have a Monty Sport 3.5 and it has an oil leak that I cannot pinpoint. Some oil collects and smokes on the exhaust before the cat. It seems to be coming from the back of the engine, dripping onto the starter housing, and down from there. Is this a common place? Does not look like a head gasket, and Im sure its oil not tranny/diff/x-fer case judging by the location and color/smell. Almost could be the tranny gasket where it bolts to the engine. ?? any ideas ??
this beast only has 40K and its not residual from the last oil change, it drips maybe a teaspoon a week. Never the less, the smoke and smell is annoying!
