P0442 code, 2001 Galant
 

I've got a P0442 (evap system small leak) code on my 2001 Galant GTZ. I know these things can be a pain to track down, but I was hoping that there might be a common fault or two that show up more frequently than others that I can use as starting points, at least, to track down the problem. I suspect vent valve or vent solenoid as possible suspects. I've done the obvious by changing the old gas cap, and checking underhood hoses has not come up with anything positive.:confused:
